Google Search introduces a new functionality allowing users to search for Bitcoin addresses and instantly view wallet balances directly within search results. This feature extends to Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) networks, enabling users to access wallet balances across various cryptocurrencies. When entering a Blockchain address, Google displays a card showcasing the Bitcoin balance along with the latest transaction details, supporting formats like P2PKH, P2SH, and Bech32.

Transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain are publicly visible, stored in a distributed ledger known as the blockchain. While addresses are public, ownership and control require safeguarding the private key. Currently, Google's feature does not support extended public key addresses, focusing primarily on providing users with balance information based on recent transactions.

Furthermore, Google's integration extends to Ethereum networks, including Polygon, Optimism, Fantom, Avalanche, and Arbitrum, enabling users to access Ethereum balances alongside Bitcoin. This feature complements existing resources within Google Search, allowing users to access cryptocurrency-related information seamlessly, akin to traditional stock market queries.
